Tickets are on sale for the Lakewood Ranch Blues Festival. And a full lineup of artists was announced, too.

The Blues Festival started in 2012 in Bradenton, but the event’s sponsor, Realize Bradenton, said they were no longer producing it. In March, co-founder Paul Benjamin announced the festival’s new plans: a move to Lakewood Ranch’s Waterside Place.

The inaugural festival in Lakewood Ranch, sponsored by Bank of America, takes place Saturday, Dec. 7 at Waterside Park, an 8-acre island on Kingfisher Lake in Waterside Place.

Tickets cost $75 for general admission and $150 for a reserved seat. Reserved seating is at the front of the stage and comes with a cushioned seat.

Festival-goers can donate $10 to the nonprofit, Mayors Feed the Hungry program.

The Blues Festival, which runs from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 7, also announced the music lineup.

Here’s who is scheduled to perform:

  • Melody Angel, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Dylan Triplett, 11:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
  • Mitch Woods & His Rocket 88s, 12:40 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
  • Kat Riggins, 2:05 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.
  • Monster Mike Welch, 3:30 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.
  • Vanessa Collier, 5 p.m. to 6:10 p.m.
  • Danielle Nicole Band, 6:30 p.m. to 7:40 p.m.

Benjamin is joined by Morgan Bettes-Angell and Antonio Hernandez of Independent Jones as the festival’s producers.

“We’re so excited to partner with Bank of America for our 2024 Inaugural Blues Festival in Lakewood Ranch! As a small business owner, Bank of America has been an incredible partner over the past 10 years as we have grown into what Independent Jones is today,” said Bettes-Angell, president of Independent Jones. “It is incredible to continue to have their support and believe in our mission as we continue to bring a world-class blues festival that showcases the best local food, drink, and music.”
